Sometimes it seems as though "hump day" isn't... My legs are killing me trying to climb this week. With all that is going on and other distractions, my first thought and image this morning was that of a golf ball on a tee. Nothing out of the ordinary there... Second thought was me walking away from it and going back to bed... Didn't like that so I forced another thought of the perfect drive... 325 yds down the middle of fairway. Frickin hump day... I shanked the shit out of that golf ball and the palm tree would have eaten it except it fell out and landed on an alligator... that sumbitch ate it...
Go about your bizness... nothing to see here

Penguins
I finally did it... Took an old PC and installed the Linux operating system on it. PC didn't cost me anything; neither did Linux. Downloaded it from www.fedoraproject.org. They and Red Hat are partners on free Linux. The graphical user interface (GUI) is very similar to XP (and the new Vista). I'll put it through the ringer over the next couple weeks and let you know if I am going to keep it. Linux is similar to Unix and can be downloaded off the net for free, or you can pay a small fee for it. I now have no excuse for not learning this OS and it capabilities and am actually looking forward to playing with it.

Yugglies
What a waste!!!! Spent the entire weekend curled up in bed feeling like crap. Missed a couple days of work too. Don't know what it was, but it was yuggly! Hit Ryan too. Only hope that Jeong Ah and Steph don't catch it. No fun at all...

Half empty/full nest
That was fun!! After a month, Jeong Hee and the twins went back home. All had a good time. Mom is with us for the next month. Jeong Ah and I will take her to DC at the end of the month so we can all celebrate the twins birthday. We will put Mom on a plane from there (rather than her coming back here only to drive her to Atlanta to fly back).

More on the storm
Made landfall just south of us in Fort Walton Beach. We got about 3" of much needed rain. No damages. Supposed to rain on and off for the next week. That's good. We still need about 16" of rain just to get back to "average" for the year...

One More
I was going to post this on the other site, but they don't allow videos...
It's funny... Not sure if it is "real". I'd have to watch all his movies to find out...

So happy... Ryan got his schedule for his junior year of HS. Lots of technical courses. Wants to max math and science this year. He starts next Monday. Bad time for a hurt back
Down in Tampa this weekend. Stephanie, Ryan and one of Ryan's' friends were supposed to go see a concert (day long festival actually) today. Well, Stephanie decided 2 days ago that she didn't want to come (she made other plans). Which meant that I would have to use her ticket. Combination of the drive here and a too soft bed left me hunched over like an old man. $80 down the drain. Told Ryan and Kyle to go sell it outside the gate (our hotel is right across the street from the arena), but Jeong Ah had a fit about it. She took the ticket to let her friends son have it. Oh well. Ryan and Kyle left the hotel about an hour ago (the gates open at 1130). Supposed to kick off at 1245 with 10 acts throughout the day. Supposed to end about 2300 tonight. Hope the kids drink lots of $7 a bottle water because it is hot as hell out there. I fill in more later...
UPDATE: 18:22 on Monday 8/13
Ryan and Kyle enjoyed the concert... a little too much I think. I got a phone call about 2100 (9PM) from Ryan asking what was for dinner. I guess he was standing too close to the "happy people". Anyway, they showed up at the hotel about midnight, really sunburned. You would think that 16 year olds would have enough sense to... A.) move to shaded area (their seats were under the roof) B.) keep hydrated.. and C.) not spend all their money on shirts...Oh well.

How much is too much?
I have five email accounts (more actually). Used to have a website and blog at Yahoo. Got rid of website because I was paying $4.95 a month for a "no Ad" site... there wasn't enough traffic to justify spending a six pack of beer or gallon of gas (ha ha) on something that no one visited (and that I didn't update often enough.). But wait... I still have the blog at Yahoo too. Not to mention (okay I will) that I really don't have time to be doing all this. I should be sleeping now for tomorrow is going to be a bitch. Too much to do at work and only so many hours to get it done.
